Introduction

Momo Chiyoda is the main character in the manga "The Demon Girl Next Door".

Magical girls are descendants of the light clan, and they fight with the power of magic. Notice! Because of their etheric body, magical girls would become much weaker if they use magic power excessively.

Momo has become a magical girl at a very young age and seemed to save the world in the past?

Despite being able to use magic, Momo is more into physical energy. As a fitness fanatic, she can break the grip strength meter with her single hand.

Characteristics:

Having a value of 300 points of the Magic, the Health is affected by the Magic. The lower the Magic, the lower the Health(the minimum value is 1).
Normally, the Magic can be recovered slowly. When the Sanity is higher than 85%, the Magic recovery speed is doubled.
Damage multiplier is 1.25x.

When the Magic reserve is sufficient, the loss of some Magic will not have much impact on the maximum of the Health.

However, when the Magic is scarce, a small amount of Magic loss can lead to huge fluctuations in the Health.

A Terrible Cook¶

Momo isn’t good at cooking. A beef hamburger steak she made with great care was a total failure -- "only tasted salt, onion, and charred meat."

In order to make food look more delicious, Momo sometimes infuses them with magic, but the end product is...not satisfied.

The failure rate of using a crock pot is 75%.

Miss Fresh Peach may fail in cooking 'any food', including the Failed Cuisine! (Try putting four twigs in the pot).

There are four forms of ‘Peachy Failed Cuisine’, which are related to ingredients.

Eating these failed dishes can cause brief hallucinations, but players can return to normal quickly.

Cuisine Similarity

Stackable, burnable, edible, and has a 6-day shelf life.

Sprouted Eggs

There is a chance to make it if they are contained in ingredients.

After eating them, 60 Sanity will be deducted, and 20 HP will be recovered.

Plantable, they would turn into random plants.

Rice Roll

It's easy to make it.

After eating it, 30 Sanity will be deducted, 37.5 Hunger will be recovered, memory will be temporarily affected, and you will not be able to clear away the black fog on the map and unlock new recipes within 1 minute.

Pink Bubble Drink

It's easy to make it.

After drinking it, 1 Sanity, 1 Health, and 1 Hunger will be restored, and the character will immediately go to sleep.

Meat with Magic

If the meat or fish is more than 2, there is a posibility of making it.

After eating it, 75 Hunger and 30 Magic would be restored.

A Dual-class Holder¶

Momo had temporarily turned over to the dark side so that she could enter Shamiko's nightmares and bring her back to the real world. At the same time, she was falling into the darkness and gaining the power of the dark.

Although Mikan hit Momo with a magic shock that should pull her back into the light side, Momo's core isn't solidified yet, leading her to descend into the darkness easily when she is depressed.

Miss Fresh Peach is not proficient at controlling the magic in the mode of darkness.

“What can be guaranteed is that even if Momo goes into the darkness, it will just transform the energy source without affecting her personality.”

Characteristics:

（1）Light-dark Conversion¶

The dark side is forced to trigger when the Sanity is 0.
The Magic cannot be recovered in the darkness, and it vanishes at a certain frequency.
If the Sanity is higher than 15%, the darkness will be automatically released after for a while, the higher the Sanity, the shorter the recovery process.
Reanimation also clears the Darkness.

（2）The Ability of Magic Girl¶

Making[Silver Magic Wand] and [Heartful Peach Morphing Stick].
[Silver Magic Wand] causes high damage and consumes more magic.
[Heartful Peach Morphing Stick]can be used to change magic outfits freely.

（3）The ability of Demonkind¶

[The Night]can be made.
[Silver Magic Wand] consumes a little magic, causing slight damage.
Shadow weapons gain a 50% higher bonus.

Mascot Hat¶

Silver Magic Wand¶

200 durability.
Causing 33 damage in normal state and 15 damage in the darkness.
You can press and hold it to charge, dealing higher damage (and also consuming more magic).
Note: [Silver Magic Wand] can not be made in the darkness.

Charging Mechanism

When Momo is in normal form, the silver magic wand can be charged up to a maximum of 5 layers. Each layer of charging takes 0.5 seconds, causing an additional 50 Damage and consuming an additional 4 Magic. If the Magic is lacking, the charging will not work out.

The charging state will be interrupted by being hit, unloading equipment, freezing, etc. Please pay attention to safety.

Charging does not work when in the darkness.

“The Night”¶

If you kill an enemy while attacking, the attack does not consume durability.

The Darkness Elixir¶

Ingredients: iridescent gem*1，nightmare fuel*8, empty*1. A Shadow manipulator is needed.
After taking it, 60 Sanity will be deducted, the Magic value will become 100%, and you will be forced to enter the darkness for 10 minutes, and the Magic loss rate will be reduced by 75%.
The potion is cleared when the character dies.

About Other Characters:¶

Lao Wang spent 2,000 RMB on the illustrations of Momo’s four sets of models. By the way, Lao Wang is also cursed with 'spending up to 2,000 RMB per month', so he hasn’t enough money to cover the cost of other roles!

About the Magic Wand:¶

Momo used a relatively long silver wand when training Shamiko, and a shorter one when transforming(It was called "Heartful Peach Morphing Stick" in the manga).

These two should be different forms of the same wand (attacking mode vs dressing mode). To better distinguish, they are designed into two shapes in my game.

About Momo’s Weapon after Falling to the Darkness:¶

Momo’s weapon is a black knife, the name of which was not mentioned in the manga, so Lao Wang gave it a name -- The Night.
